3️⃣ What’s next: Baraka hopes to attend the COP31 UN climate summit in Türkiye this November to bring his message directly to world leaders. Climate policy experts are calling for a standing requirement that children’s perspectives be included when nations prepare their positions for major climate conferences. Baraka’s mother and supporters are also seeking more financial backing so his tree planting and awareness work can grow beyond what his family alone can fund.
