Created in 2019 by Canadian small businesses, the movement raises funds for tangible ocean cleanup projects through participating brands that donate portions of their sales. This year, creative impact studio Artterra launched the Blue Earth Box campaign, combining art, community support, and environmental action. Each plastic-free gift box sold directs $30 to ocean conservation groups and projects, with partners including numerous environmental NGOs reaching over one million Instagram followers collectively.
