Immunizations have helped to avert an estimated 37 million deaths from 2000-2019 alone. Yet, as recently as 2022, the world was in the midst of the largest backslide in childhood vaccination rates in over 30 years, mainly due to vaccine hesitancy and lack of access. Furthermore, the emergence of new infectious diseases like COVID-19, and the re-emergence of diseases like Group C Meningitis, make the development of new vaccines crucial to global health. So, we had to ask: What are the best charities that advance vaccine development and adoption?
