Both systems feed into a single 345-kilovolt transmission line connected to Tucson Electric Power under one power purchase agreement, cutting costs that typically make multi-energy projects financially unattractive. The result is a hybrid facility capable of delivering clean energy continuously across a full 24-hour cycle.

Utilities no longer need to justify the cost of separate substations, transmission lines, and permits to achieve round-the-clock clean power.
