Japanese companies will invest in deploying carbon-reduction technologies across India in sectors like solar thermal energy, green hydrogen, and sustainable aviation fuel. In return, Japan receives carbon credits that can offset its emissions or be traded in its national carbon market, while India gains access to advanced clean technologies and investment.
