This marks their third collaboration, significantly expanding their previous purchases of 40,000 and 60,000 credits. The Carbon by Indigo program helps American farmers adopt regenerative agriculture practices that can potentially remove over 3.5 gigatons of CO2 equivalent annually. Beyond carbon benefits, these practices improve water management and create additional revenue for farmers, with Indigo having paid $40 million to participants across all its programs so far.

The 40-year durability term and 100-year monitoring commitments ensure long-term climate benefits from these agricultural improvements.

The company will adhere to the Soil Enrichment Protocol’s 100-year monitoring and reversal compensation obligations.
