The company has launched a second crowdfunding campaign, seeking financial backing to scale its innovative seaweed management system. This technology intercepts seaweed before it reaches shorelines, stores it in specialized paddocks, and processes it into valuable feedstock for skincare items, sustainable packaging, bioplastics, and biochar. By March 2025, Seafields had already secured $3.9 million in grants and funding, with their current campaign raising an additional $226,000 from more than 140 investors.

The company aims to expand its SeaGrow farms throughout the Caribbean region. Long-term plans include creating more than 100 farms to effectively manage Sargassum seaweed while delivering meaningful climate and social benefits.
