Beyond energy storage, the facility will produce 150,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually, supporting multiple industrial applications. Inner Mongolia can now position itself as a national hydrogen energy demonstration hub, potentially creating new economic opportunities. The technology demonstrates a viable path for other countries to integrate hydrogen into their renewable-heavy grids, accelerating the global transition to clean energy.
